Jr. .Net Developer
Location: Annapolis, MD
Duties: Veridyne designs web accessible products and services that assemble environmental observations collected from existing national, state, and local data collection efforts. The resulting information and developed products are presented to a wide-range of end users, from researchers to the general public, via intelligent web interfaces. Data is stored in MS SQL Server databases and applications are developed primarily in C# as ASP.NET web applications.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or equivalent hands-on experience
The incumbent must be familiar with programming in C#.NET, write SQL statements, and work on a team that develops end products using a multi-tier services model. The applicant should have experience developing products from technical specifications and requirements. Maintaining the highest levels of application and database performance and security are essential to the task. The applicant must have 1 year of experience relating to the development of Internet applications using C# and SQL, preferably applications that provide access to environmental data.

Linux Administrator
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duties: Veridyne is currently looking for an individual with proficient experience in Linux system administration as well as some experience with Windows system administration for a client located in the Annapolis, MD, area.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or 5 years of hands-on experience
The incumbent must be familiar with the Red Hat branch of Linux (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS). Excellent communication skills are required as the position requires regular interfacing with the client and end users.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Linux systems administration and end user support
- Linux server and workstation installation
- Configuring samba in an Active Directory environment
- Basic shell scripting
- Package management (up2date and yum)
- Installing software from source
- Supporting several GNU tools (grep, ps, sed, find)
- User/group management

Account Manager - Commercial Sector
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duties: Veridyne is currently looking for an individual to add to our Commercial Account Management Team. We are looking for an individual to focus on our Commercial Practice which employs strategic staffing and solution-selling techniques. This position will initially focus within the Central Pennsylvania, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Maryland market place.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
The Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and closing business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, assisting with proposal development efforts, and other related sales activities. This person would be responsible for achieving sales goals and objectives through the following:
- Developing sales strategies and account plans in support of Commercial business opportunities.
- Create and execute proposal development strategies for current and new Veridyne customers.
- Work as part of the proposal development team to develop solution-based proposals including scope, approach, plan, organization, assumptions, benefits, and investments.
- Identify solution-based and project-based business opportunities within the Commercial market place.
- Ensure Veridyne is qualified on approved vendor lists for key Commercial entities.
- Assist with proposal presentations to Veridyne executive management and oral presentations to customers.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in selling information technology services to Commercial clients.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent cold-calling and account penetration skills.
- Ability to penetrate C-level contacts.
- Familiarity with the ability to articulate the advantages of new technology approaches such as ECM, OO, UML, JAD/RAD, prototyping, automated testing, etc.

Account Manager - Public Sector
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duties: Veridyne, Inc. has several openings for experienced, proven project managers to assist our client (Philadelphia area) in the establishment of project management standards and processes, and the development and execution of project plans for mission critical application portfolio projects.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher

- Minimum 5 years in selling State/Local Government sector systems solutions with a thorough understanding of the RFP and proposal development processes.
- Strong understanding of state government agencies and program areas including those related to Health and Human Services, Transportation, Revenue, and Criminal Justice.
- Familiarity with the ability to articulate the advantages of technology approaches such as ECM, OO, UML, JAD/RAD, prototyping, automated testing, web-enablement, etc.

Project Manager - Healthcare
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duties: Veridyne, Inc. has several openings for experienced, proven project managers to assist our client (Philadelphia area) in the establishment of project management standards and processes, and the development and execution of project plans for mission critical application portfolio projects.
Education: PMP/PMI and Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 10 years experience in the establishment and use of project management standards and processes
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Health Care Insurance Industry
- Proven ability to develop project management plans and successful execution of such plans on schedule and within budget
- Ability to work effectively with client executives and assigned project team members
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- PMP/PMI certification strongly desired
- Knowledge of HIPAA, Federal and State Medical Assistance statutes are a plus

Curriculum Developer/Trainer

Duties: The candidate will be part of a team developing training materials and related application documentation for a large custom developed application.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Position requirements include:
- Previous experience developing training materials and delivering training for custom-developed business applications. Training delivery should include instructor-lead as well as train-the-trainer.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Experience with automated training software aids (such as Photoshop, CapturePro. SnagIt, FrontPage, SoundForge and Toolbook, etc.) a plus.

.NET Architects / Developers

Duties: Veridyne is currently searching for candidates with strong .NET programming skills. The candidate will work on a development team, or solely, for .NET projects at client sites. at the contracted location.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Position requirements include:
- VB.NET, ASP.NET (C#.NET nice to have as well)
- SQL Server 2000 or better
- Oracle 9i or better is a plus
- Any extra experience in UML, Documentation, Testing and Architecting is nice to have
